The Plaza bar, opened in 1933, is the original location of the locally owned chain. But other locations in downtown Kansas City, Lee's Summit and Overland Park also serve the bar's legendary BLT and gigantic chicken wings, which are popular carry-out for parties. The homemade blue-cheese dressing delivers nothing short of carnal bliss. The downtown location has a party room.
Best wings I have ever eaten. Went to Buffalo, NY and ate in the place where they were invented. Couldn’t wait to get back to the Peanut. They are the biggest and the freshest I have ever eaten. We like the one out on Old Metcalf the best. Prepare to wait though, they cook every order from scratch but it is worth the wait.
